I am pleased that I long-ago recommended Python for newbies. Microsoft is trying to strangle it, as they have tried to strangle R.

The Unix way is under threat. This Flatpak app crap is another knock.

Freedom is not about ideals, but a way of solving problems. Something for Libertarians to think on.

And, for my former students: it is decided: macroeconomics is not economics.
